My Word of the Year is SOVEREIGNTY

(with a heavy dose of merry whimsy this week)

Week Four WIN!

We can't take ourselves too seriously these days. Sometimes the best decision is to throw on a hat you haven't worn in three years, don your new sunglasses, meet your daughter for a walk on a frozen beach, and before you know it, she's cracking up at your resemblance to Willy Wonka.

Who wears this look better? Ha!!

What does this have to do with my new year's resolutions? Not a damn thing. But it's a win because it cracks me up, and that's enough.

My Word of the Year is SOVEREIGNTY

Week Three WIN!

I'm taking part in Authentic Fashion February with my dear friend Sarah Seidelmann. You can check it out here

I have been diving deep into my closet, where all manner of treasures lie, to pour love onto pieces that have stood at the starting line, but never really took off running into authentic Kimberly land.

This project fits with my 2021 resolutions to create every day, and continue to honor myself for who I am.

K.'s Thoughts~

I have always felt six seasons behind when it comes to fashion. I don't like to shop, don't like trying on clothes, and get anxious when I need to pull out my wallet. I've had a fuzzy dream of the kind of woman I could bring to life through the perfect outfit, but I've only taken baby steps toward realizing her.

Until this week.

I hope you are all moving with integrity toward your own 2021 goals, and as always, I'm here for you!

My Word of the Year is SOVEREIGNTY

Week Two WIN!

I brought more art into my life by supporting a friend's work, made healthy meals, finished a good book, made it to all three scheduled workouts, and faced my fear in an online interview that turned out to be so much FUN!

K.'s Thoughts~

I reached out to see who wanted to come along on this journey with me--this journey of keeping our resolutions close. An amazing group of women came forward to share their "Words of the Year".

REACH GOALS

RESET

LOVE

WOW (Wahe Guru)

SELF-FORGIVENESS

NEW LIFE

DILIGENCE

COURAGE

Thank you Ramona, Cherrie, Ruth, Sarah, Lori, Evie, Stacy, and Shawnee for stepping up. May these beautiful words of intention keep you company all year long, filling your days with gentle focus and belonging.

~Welcome to 2021~
A Year of Wins!

Hi! I'm Kimberly. I recently finished a #100days project here on my blog called 100 Acorns. You can check out its welcome page in my archives. It's the August post from 2020.

To launch us into 2021 I've started something new! I'll be posting every WEEK with a new WIN.

Do you have a focus for the year? A goal? A resolution? A dream? Maybe just one word you'd like to keep close? Let's make 2021 epic! Each of us has something special to give the world.

Don't hold back.

 099/100

Bless 2020 for seeds planted.

💗 K.

~It will always amaze me that a tiny acorn can grow into a mighty Oak tree. With nourishing soil, water, sunlight, and care, it grows! The same is true for us. Take something from this year, maybe a whisper of an idea, and plant it. Nurture it going forward and see how high you can climb.

 098/100

Bless 2020, so that you're ready for 2021.

💗K.

~We've got to let go, or we'll carry the weight of one year into the next. Tomorrow is the last full moon of the year. What perfect timing! The full moon is the best time to release what no longer serves, and any residual angst or darkness from 2020 can take a hike. We don't need it, it doesn't serve us going forward.
